COVID-19 Protocol
We are so glad that we’ll be able to have activities at Arborlea in person, but due to the current situation, we are implementing the following safety measures:
1) We are limiting our number of participants to allow for social distancing.
2) We ask that you inform us if you will not be attending the session so that we can keep an accurate record of who is attending.
3) We will be having our activity in our backyard and garage area. We will leave the gate open and participants can come and go through the gate.
4) We ask that everyone wear a mask.
5) We ask that if you have experienced any symptoms related to the coronavirus, or have come into contact with anyone who was diagnosed or thought to have coronavirus within the past 7 days, to please remain at home.
Assumption of the Risk and Waiver of Liability Relating to Coronavirus/COVID-19
The novel coronavirus, COVID-19, has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization. COVID-19 is extremely contagious and is believed to spread mainly from person-to-person contact. As a result, federal, state, and local governments and federal and state health agencies recommend social distancing and have, in many locations, prohibited the congregation of groups of people. Arborlea Study Center has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19; however, Arborlea Study Center, Inc. cannot guarantee that you will not become infected with COVID-19. Further, attending activities at Arborlea Study Center could increase your risk and your family’s risk of contracting COVID-19. By signing this agreement, I acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume the risk that my family and I may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19 by attending activities at Arborlea Study Center and that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, permanent disability, and even death. I understand that the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by COVID-19 at Arborlea Study Center may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself and others, including, but not limited to, Arborlea Study Center employees, volunteers, and program participants and their families.I voluntarily agree to assume all of the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury to myself or my family (including, but not limited to, physical illness, disability, and even death),medical expenses, lost wages, expenses or damages of any other kind, involving my person or my property (hereinafter “Claims”) that I or my family may experience or incur arising out of my participation in Arborlea Study Center activities. On my behalf, and on behalf of my family, I hereby release, covenant not to sue, discharge, and hold harmless Arborlea Study Center, its officers and directors, employees, volunteers, agents, attendees, contractors,guests, and invitees, of and from any Claims arising from my participation in Arborlea Study Center activities. I understand and agree that this release includes any Claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of Arborlea Study Center, its officers and directors, employees, volunteers, agents, attendees, contractors, guests and invitees,whether a COVID-19 infection occurs before, during, or after participation in any Arborlea Study Center.
